People request what they like in their picture. All from character, the environment BOTH INSIDE OR/AND OUTSIDE OF THE PIC. So let me come to my point. From all I and you know this can be a request where the one that have requested forest like environment outside of the room. I am very sure that you aren't a member and if you are (probably not) then you have at least not taken a look at this particular request. And if it weren't request, but just a random picture, then this picture could still make sense. Maybe these two, Gaara and Matsuri, have taken a trip to Konoha, where there is many trees there and NOT DESERT. Just because some character does belongs to suna village doesn't mean the environment around them should be sand or desert!! Because with many other picture their environment have been different from what village they belong to! So your argument is just invalid and stupid. -.-
