A request from Erebos. I had fun doing Dark Rukia lately. Maybe it's because I haven't seen that movie yet. So I'm not really sure what happened to her aside from that video clip I saw with her fighting Ichigo. I'm making it a point to watch the whole thing once I have the time. Hope you like it. This might be the last I'll do a Rukia for the next 1-2 weeks. I'll move on to other females.

Oh, I already know those things and probably more. I did western style comic cell-shades before and that was what I got used to the most. Most of my work before were realism/semi-realism so it really takes some getting used to with the Anime style. I wasn't going for soft shadows on this one. It's just that with all the great anime/hentai art out there that I want to simulate the look of, it's easy to get confused with what kind of style to use on an illustration. I get that sticking to one art style to build your identity on is advisable but I tend to get bored with just one style. It gets too mundane for me quite fast. But I'll try sticking to one/two styles and see how long it takes before I get tired of it.
Have two layers for shading and highlights and Try using a little bit of Gluassian-Blur on the shading and high lights. And leave the other 2 layers normal. This is assuming that you use different layers when coloring and label your layers. And please try using the smudge-tool and soft-edge eraser when trying to refine the soft shadows. Your coloring skills are great and precise, but I feel it needs more creativity, professionalism, & weight.
