I agree with you about the eyes. I love Sara's purple eyes but lately, when she is drawn, the purple is left out. I wonder why.
That's not Sara's eyes. She has some purple in them. These are just... so black (no racist). Do you have an image of the character from the anime/movie that you look at when drawing like Darwin does? I seriously, sincerely think a check list would help you bring out the best from each character. The details I think should be focused on the most is skin color, eyes and bust. Bust may be difficult to keep consistent for the both of you, but when the eyes or skin color are off, they seem like different characters. You also have to make sure the image reference you use of a character are in "normal" lighting. Sara's skin looks good here, but you did use to draw her with a different color. Just like you did with Konan and Mikoto. Your latest works of Pakura have also missed using the correct skin lighting. Keep their eyes "alive"!
