It is completely fine that they don't like certain characters, but when they attack those who like the characters, the comment section(s) just become a bad place to be. We want to express our love for these characters, but these guys just wants to express their hatred towards the characters AND those who like them. They don't even explain WHY people shouldn't like a character. Even if they tried to, it would probably just be like "I hate that character, so you should also hate that character, or else you're stupid and gay". (Yes, they use "gay" as an insult.)

Look, these sorts of requests are done for the REQUESTERS. It doesn't matter what you guys think, I'm sorry to be blunt. It doesn't matter if you don't like it, because it wasn't meant for you. Rex is filling out a request for a customer and that's that. If you're sore over a certain pairing that you don't agree with, then too fucking bad. Sure you can rate and comment on the artwork but you should all know better than to shit all over everything for the sake of your childish opinions. People come here to see Rex and Darwin's art and enjoy them. Obviously, canon pairings aren't the only ones drawn, so I'd have assumed that you would all be used to that knowledge by now. Think of this- You're Rex, working your ass off creating neatly drawn artwork for thousands of members that pay you to do so, when you get several comments such as complaining about the pairing or one character in particular, or simply mentioning something anything remotely assinine. Speaking as a fellow artist, I'd feel pretty shitty and my motivation and desire for drawing would drop drastically.
