At this age generally tend to occur several changes, especially in girls. I believe that her face should remain similar, it is something characteristic of Kishi's design. Btw, a considerable percentage of girls I know, many remained very similar to what they were years ago. Obviously there were differences, but not that many, even well-being of the next 18 years. It is nice to see a more rational comment, lately it has been the common place which in Brazil called "hatear" I suppose that can be literally translated as "act of complain or hate without arguments." Nah, your face will change during puberty. Everyone's body and face will change. And I highly doubt Himawari's face will remain like that when she get more mature and eventually get to be an adult. The reason for that face is that Himawari's face remains like that I'd because Kishi have never to now drawn adult faces on character like her and the youngest generation of Konoha. I think the eason rex made her like this and didn't bother to evem make her body more mature is because I believe he is trying out new ways to draw pics and see how they look. It's either that or person who requested this wanted it like this.
I think that was the purpose. Himawari look older in that, but not in fact a woman. Various girls with 18 year old, look like this. This for me was interesting...btw, i liked it. Obviously this is just my opinion, for me this pic is 10/10.
I'm sure you tried to but I thinking experimenting and trying a different look or 2 for Himawari to make her look older would've helped this a lot.
This is a repost: Well, this picture is beautifully drawn indeed, but is this supposed to be ‘hot’? Even if Himawari’s look on this picture is more mature than in ‘Naruto: The Last’ (haven’t seen this film yet, so I’m not quite sure about that), her exterior seems still way too immature to me. I don’t want to doubt you, Rex the KING of narutopixxx.com, by any means, but I’d like that better, if even girls like her would be drawn in a more adult shape.
