The prelude manga to the mini series, a.k.a the last chapter of Naruto manga, shown Choji and Karui, Ino and Sai as pairs, things that I didn't see coming. I'm not against those pairings but my curiosity kicks me. What went into their minds they "liked" their partners?

I have no idea what Chouji and Karui see in each other to "liked" one another. There was no hint in the manga at all. They didn't interact even once in the manga. It would have lessen the shock if they had interacted a few times, say during the Fourth War. Sai and Ino least knew each other and interacted some times. Even Ino shown some interest in Sai. So having them together was not a shock at all.
Chojiro is a dude so he can't be a wife and Mabui is dead so that's the most obvious reason why she isn't paired with someone in cannon. And that Naru/Hina pairing will be fleshed out in "The Last Naruto Movie" so it wont be open ended. As far as Fagay/Suckera, we all seen it coming since episode 1 and the entire Sai/Ino thing? Well that just popped out of nowhere.
I think the reason why Sai and Ino got together was because Ino said Sai "reminded her a lot of Sasuke" and that they had a lot of similarities. Also, I don't remember it in the manga but in the anime Sai called her "gorgeous" which made Ino blush.
Err, do you really think Tsunade will be with a man after both Dan and my man Jiraya were killed? And even then, with Naruto? Be real here, we get you like fanfiction, but come on. Also, Mei wants to get married, did you not read the last chapter? Shes not with anyone. Mabui is dead buddy. Along with Shika and Inos Dad.

Otherwise, I really want to see witch one choose Tsunade, I cant get the idea she will stay single for the rest of her life (I thought about a very exciting milf secret couple with Naruto and she would make children with him in parallel with Hinata (Because Naru Hina is a logic but boring couple), or a more reasonable with another older man) and Mei too, I saw that Chojuro became Mizukage, is she her wife or not ? And Samui ? And Mabui ? Many very hot girls'couple remains a mystery and aren t been reavealed and I hope they will be more interesting and exciting than a NaruHina/SasuSaku or Ino/Sai which are the most flat qnd tasteless couple that Kishi could imagine, 'gess he did it in order to not be unpleasant with his largest fanbase : / But nonetheless i just say that by the scenaristic point of wiew, those three couples remains very exciting in hentai when drawn by our two npixxx artists : )
Surprising couple for me too but the Ino/Sai one remains the more odd of alls. I thought that, like Sasuke, he was gay and was going to finish with him. I can t get excited by imagining Ino fucked by him, even if the 3 or 4 rex's pixxx about this couple are very-well realised, because I can t identify to him with his gay look, expressionless face and ultra white skin. So I d really like in the future to sed the "adult" Ino fucked by more various males than only Sai.

Karui means light/intensity in Japanese, and compared with Choji's type of build. It may be the most possible reason for them to become couple.
