Well, it's not really a big deal on how you are making it out to be. The fact of the matter is, those details that you want to see are just very minor and unnecessary. It's best to just focus on the whole drawing itself, and not nitpick on small things that are not worth to make a fuss about.
I have a fetish for details... Normally when someone is drawing a certain character for years, he or she remembers every detail. Seems that our beloved author is an exception in this. I should stop repeating myself and reminding him about the nails since he is likely to ignore this... He says that he welcomes constructive criticism but he doesn't even try to correct all the mistakes that he is constantly repeating. PS: When I saw the lineart, first thing I thought of was that he is going to forgot to paint her nails and as I can see, I wasn't wrong.
